The Project

Stardust: The Universe in You is a dynamic, 5,000 square-foot touring exhibition designed by Flying Fish in partnership with Spark Initiatives and supported by Cosmosphere and TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. Working Studio served as the primary fabricator for the exhibit, bringing to life the dynamic vision of the exhibition partners.

This STEAM-centric experience immerses visitors through five interactive zones—beginning with the Big Bang and cosmic timeline, proceeding through atom and star formation, galaxy creation, supernova element cycles, and culminating in an exploration of how stardust shapes life and individual existence. Highlights include hands-on orrery models, immersive projections of supernovae, holographic star-making drums, and a silhouette-based stardust wall, all reinforced by stunning imagery and a life-sized James Webb Space Telescope model. Stardust offers a fully realized, visually rich, and scientifically rigorous exhibit that bridges cosmic scale and human connection.
