The Project

Working Studio was honored to reimagine and reconstruct a cherished centerpiece at the Muncie Children’s Museum—the iconic Ant Wall. This immersive, climbable exhibit invites young explorers to navigate the intricate tunnels of an ant colony, offering both adventure and discovery.

Standing over 10 feet tall and 16 feet wide, the newly designed structure enhances the original experience with improved safety features, a more naturalistic façade, and meticulously hand-painted details by our expert finishing team. The upgraded Ant Wall preserves the spirit of the beloved 1970s original while ensuring durability, accessibility, and engagement for future generations.

With this revitalization, we celebrate decades of imagination and play, ensuring that the Ant Wall continues to inspire and delight for years to come.
