The Project

Working Studio had the honor of partnering with The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis to create an interactive Chanting Book for their Sacred Places Exhibit, as part of the Wat Arun feature. This exhibit immerses visitors in the rich culture and traditions surrounding one of Bangkok’s revered Buddhist temples, fostering a deeper understanding and respect for sacred communities around the world.

The centerpiece of the Wat Arun exhibit is an intricately sculpted and themed Buddhist prayer book, designed by our team. As visitors engage with the book, hidden sensors trigger LED lights that illuminate the ancient words on the pages, guiding them in sync with the peaceful audio of traditional Buddhist chants. This immersive experience allows guests to step into the shoes of a monk-in-training, witnessing the serenity and spiritual practice of daily life inside Wat Arun temple.

Through this unique and interactive installation, Working Studio has helped bring the beauty and tranquility of Wat Arun to life, offering visitors an unforgettable connection to a sacred tradition.
