The Project

The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation asked Working Studio to reimagine a child focused area housed in an antique Texaco service station. With the help of our design partners Beth Malandain and Colorbox Industries, we created seven thematic and interactive exhibits focused on automotive repair and maintenance. Our exhibits engage children in learning through problem solving and observation as well as providing rewarding tactile, auditory, and visual feedback. We worked with the museum’s accessibility team to ensure that people with a wide range of abilities can enjoy the space.
