The Project

Mission Astronaut is a hands-on experience where visitors learn about space exploration, and the technology that makes it possible. The exhibit features a variety of STEM-based astronaut training challenges that simulate real space missions. Guests can try their hands at doing simple tasks in a space suit and gloves, along with more complex projects such as growing plants, exercising, cooking a meal, building a space station and so much more.

Working Studio completed 11 different interactives and exhibit components for Mission Astronaut. We’re grateful to Flying Fish, Eric Hugunin and support from The DoSeum and Intrepid Museum.
