The Project
Working Studio was thrilled to partner with ADEX International to design, fabricate, and install a one-of-a-kind holiday experience for the Mississippi Children’s Museum.
Journey to the North Pole transforms MCM’s Gertrude C. Ford Exhibition Hall into a mesmerizing winter wonderland, complete with snowy skies, twinkling starry lights, and life-sized train cars that children can climb on and explore.
The centerpiece of this magical experience is the 45-foot Snowflake Slide, cascading down the museum’s central staircase, offering endless fun for both children and adults as they zoom into the holiday spirit.
Young adventurers can also don conductor’s caps, punch tickets for their next train ride, and immerse themselves in the bustling sounds of a festive train station. From tooting Santa’s Steam Engine horn to serving lunch in the dining car or listening to a holiday story in the cozy reading car, the journey is filled with excitement at every turn. Train enthusiasts will be thrilled by the expansive train table, featuring snowy landscapes and child-sized train cars, perfect for imaginative, hands-on play.
This interactive, holiday-themed exhibit captures the magic of the season, offering families an unforgettable experience that blends creativity, fun, and festive cheer.
